This role involves diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining light vehicles in accordance with Toyota manufacturer specifications and Australian safety standards. The successful candidates will work as part of a skilled team in a well‑equipped workshop, delivering consistent, high‑quality outcomes for our customers. Key Duties and Responsibilities Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic tools and scan equipment Perform scheduled servicing and logbook maintenance Repair and replace engines, clutches, transmissions, and driveline components Inspect and service braking, steering, suspension, exhaust, fuel, and cooling systems Dismantle and reassemble mechanical components as required Carry out wheel alignments, tyre inspections, and replacements Conduct road testing and post‑repair quality checks Identify and report additional maintenance requirements Complete service records, job cards, and compliance documentation accurately Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment Comply with workplace health and safety policies and procedure Skills and Experience Required Trade qualification in Automotive Mechanical Technology (Certificate III or higher) Motor Vehicle Repair Certification with Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety Consumer Protection Minimum of 1-year relevant post‑qualification experience Experience working with Toyota vehicles is an advantage Strong mechanical diagnostic and fault‑finding skills Ability to read and interpret service manuals and technical information Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a team Mandatory Requirements Valid C Class Australian drivers’ licence Police Clearance Physical capability to perform mechanical duties What We Offer Competitive salary of $80,000 per annum Secure, ongoing full‑time employment Stable workload in a reputable regional dealership Supportive and professional team environment Opportunities for ongoing training and skill development
