Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Drainer to join our team on a full-time basis. ️ About the Role You will contribute to a range of civil and infrastructure projects involving: Trenching and earthworks Pit and pipe installation Underground utility construction Drainage system installation This role involves working with a skilled team across diverse project environments, including regional and remote sites. Key Duties & Responsibilities Installing, repairing, and maintaining drainage systems, including stormwater, sewer, and subsoil drainage Laying pipes, conduits, and associated fittings for underground utility infrastructure Excavating and preparing trenches for drainage installation in accordance with engineering specifications Reading and interpreting plans, drawings, and site instructions Backfilling, compacting, and testing installed drainage systems Working alongside excavation crews on trenching, earthworks, and site preparation activities Ensuring compliance with WHS standards, environmental requirements, and site procedures Conducting inspections, fault finding, and maintenance of drainage systems Assisting with installation of related underground services such as pipelines, conduits, and cable infrastructure ✅ Skills & Experience Relevant trade qualification or equivalent experience as a Drainer Proven at least 2-3 year's work experience in civil construction, drainage, or underground utilities Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans Experience working in excavation and trenching environments Strong understanding of WHS requirements and safe work practices White Card (Construction Induction) - mandatory Relevant tickets (e.g. excavator, confined space, working at heights) - desirable Current driver's licence (HR desirable) What We Offer Full-time, long-term opportunity Competitive salary aligned with market rates Work on major infrastructure and resource sector projects Supportive team environment with a strong safety culture Modern equipment and ongoing training opportunities How to Apply If you are a motivated and experienced Drainer looking to join a growing and reputable contractor, we encourage you to apply now.
