D'Arcy Weil is representing one of Australia's largest privately owned renewable energy businesses, with an operational portfolio spanning utility-scale wind, solar, and battery storage across multiple Australian jurisdictions. The business requires an experienced Contract Manager to provide rigorous commercial contract management across its development, construction, and operational asset portfolio. You will manage EPC, O&M, connection, land access, and procurement agreements — monitoring contractor performance, managing variations and claims, escalating commercial risks, and ensuring contract administration is disciplined and well-documented across a complex, multi-project environment. Key Responsibilities Contract Administration & Performance Manage a broad portfolio of contracts across the development, construction, and operational lifecycle of renewable energy assets including EPC, O&M, connection, land access, and procurement agreements Monitor contractor and supplier performance against contractual obligations, identifying and managing performance issues, non-conformances, and disputes as they arise Manage contract variations and claims with rigour and discipline, ensuring all variations are properly assessed, documented, and approved in accordance with contractual requirements Risk Management & Commercial Advisory Identify, assess, and escalate commercial risks across the contract portfolio, providing clear and practically focused guidance to project, commercial, and legal teams Provide contract management advisory to development, construction, and operational teams on contractual obligations, risk allocation, and commercial terms across the project lifecycle Support the development and maintenance of contract registers, reporting frameworks, and governance documentation across the renewable energy asset portfolio Stakeholder & Counterparty Engagement Build and maintain productive relationships with contractors, suppliers, and other counterparties across the project lifecycle, managing commercial interfaces with professionalism and commercial discipline Work closely across development, construction, commercial, and legal functions to ensure contract management activity is well-integrated and aligned across the portfolio Contribute to the continuous improvement of contract management processes, templates, and governance standards across the business About You A commercially astute contracts professional with demonstrated experience across renewable energy, infrastructure, or major construction contracts, you bring proven capability across contract administration, variation management, and claims resolution and the judgement to manage competing priorities across a complex, multi-project environment. You are detail-oriented, independently capable, and effective at communicating contract risk and performance issues to both technical and commercial audiences.
