This is a Skilled Trades Assistant (Electrical) role with Kent based in Lytton, QLD, AU Kent Role Seniority - junior More about the Skilled Trades Assistant (Electrical) role at Kent About the Role: Kent Projects is seeking additional casual blue-collar personnel on a short-term basis to support electrical work packages on the Ampol Future Fuels Project in Lytton. As a Skilled Electrical Trade Assistant, you’ll support qualified tradespeople with day-to-day site tasks including equipment setup, tool maintenance as well as cable laying and pulling. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a major Australian infrastructure project focused on reducing emissions and supporting a more sustainable future. Your Day to Day will Include : Assist tradespersons with equipment setup, cable pulling, and maintaining clean work fronts Load, unload, and organise materials and supplies safely and efficiently Maintain tools and equipment in clean, safe, and serviceable condition Follow all site safety protocols, including handling of hazardous materials and equipment Work independently and as part of a team, maintaining a clean and safe work environment About You: Our ideal candidate will have 12 months previous experience working as an Electrical Trades Assistant on construction projects and hold current certifications, including RIIWHS204 Work at Heights and RIIWHS202 Enter and Work in Confined Spaces (both obtained within the past three years), a valid Construction White Card, and a current Australian Driver’s License.
