Memory Nurture is seeking an experienced and compassionate Physio Therapist to join our team of OTs, Exercise Physiologists, Art Therapist and Music Therapists. Therapy assistants and Support Workers who encourage clients to achieve their goals under the supervision of an OT and /or PT. A warm, caring nature and good communication skills are essential to be successful in this role. Knowledge of dementia care, Acquired Brain Injury, CVA. Parkinsons. Mental Health is valued. Job Responsibilities Evaluating clients' physical status and abilities via clinical observations and standardised testing. Establishing treatment goals and planning treatment with the client and family. Implementing the plan of care through direct treatment and supervising Therapy Assistants Coordinating treatment with other healthcare professionals Providing guidance and education to the client, family, and caregivers Evaluating the need for interdisciplinary referral. Providing clients with assistive devices where required (e.g - walking aids, splints) where necessary Recording, maintaining, and providing accurate, timely documentation of client treatment and progress.
