Description About the Role Redpath Mining is seeking a skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our growing team. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will play a key role in delivering underground mining projects safely, on time, and within budget. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex and technically challenging operations within a globally respected mining contractor. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and execute project engineering activities across underground mining operations Monitor project progress, costs, and schedules, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements Prepare and review technical documentation, including work packs, methodologies, and reports Provide engineering support to site teams, including supervision and mentoring of junior staff Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards at all times Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications About You Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline Proven experience in underground mining or heavy civil projects Strong understanding of project management principles and contract administration Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to work effectively in remote and challenging site environments Proficiency in relevant engineering and project management software Commitment to safety and operational excellence
