Job details Yard Hand / Transfer Station Operator Immediate start Shepparton 4 Days Per Week | Weekend Availability Required $43.63/hour penalties Our Client Our Client deliver a wide range of community services across waste management, infrastructure, recreation, and local government operations. Council operates multiple Resource Recovery Centres servicing residents and commercial customers across the municipality What You Will Be Doing Operate the transfer station in a safe and efficient manner Assess incoming loads and direct customers to appropriate disposal areas Take customer payments and issue receipts Operate loader, backhoe, and forklift as required General yard hand duties and site maintenance Maintain a clean and organised work area Assist with day-to-day operational requirements Work 4 days per week with weekend availability as required What Will You Need? Current Loader Ticket Current Backhoe Ticket Current Forklift Licence Previous experience in a similar yard, waste, or plant operating role Cash handling or payment processing experience preferred Strong customer service skills Strong commitment to workplace safety Ability to pass a medical and police check Drivers licence and reliable transport What's In It For You?
