Location: Dandenong South Pay Rate : $35 - $45 per hour Temp to Perm Opportunity for the right person We are seeking a Purchasing Officer to join a global organisation based in Dandenong South. About the Role This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate supply chain data, efficient procurement processes, and strong inventory performance. You will support improvements in working capital through effective inventory control, disciplined purchasing practices, and the timely identification and resolution of discrepancies across systems including SAP, Basware, and related platforms. The role also provides operational support to Sales, Service, and Warehouse teams, ensuring high standards of data integrity, cost control, and process compliance are consistently maintained. Your Key Responsibilities will be: Use systems such as SAP, Basware, and Salesforce Provide administrative support to the Warehouse Manager Drive and support continuous improvement initiatives Manage end-to-end procurement activities Oversee invoice processing and management Monitor and report on cost performance Support inbound logistics and freight coordination To be successful in this role, you will bring : 3-5 years' experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Technical Logistics roles Strong ERP system experience (SAP highly regarded) with inventory reconciliation capability Certificate or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration (Highly regarded) Experience in procurement and vendor management Demonstrated experience in import/export documentation and international freight cycles Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills Strong communication skills High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving abilities A customer-focused mindset Adaptability to adapt to evolving processes What's on Offer Monday to Friday hours Temp to permanent opportunity for the right candidate Opportunity to take ownership and truly make the role your own If this sounds like the right opportunity for you, please APPLY NOW or contact Vanessa on 03 9070 1111 for more information.
