This is a Branch Operations Supervisor role with Centurion based in WA, AU Centurion Role Seniority - mid level, senior More about the Branch Operations Supervisor role at Centurion Branch Operations Supervisor To provide support to the Branch Operations Manager by controlling, directing and maximising the productivity and effectiveness of branch operations. What you'll be doing? Implementation of operational changes to increase efficiency and productivity as directed by the Branch Operations Manager. Accountable for branch cost control, efficiencies and utilisation monitored through the performance review process. Monitor movement of the fleet to ensure safe, cost effective, and reliable distribution of freight. Foster the company culture of commitment to being the best and enforce company values. Ensure that the appropriate policies, procedures, and organisation structures are in place. Drive local hire and ensure usage of branch-based assets. Maximise back loading capability. Manage branch scanning compliance on a daily basis and assist with administration of paperwork as and when required including FMS. Any other relevant duties as requested by the Branch Operations Manager. What you'll bring? Demonstrated experience in a transport hub managing day to day operations. Demonstrated experience supervising a supply chain and logistics operations. General freight consolidation. Leadership, mentoring, and supervisory skills. Cost control focus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft package suite of programs. Good understanding of heavy haulage requirements and road transport over dimensional permit requirements. Tertiary qualification in Management or equivalent industry experience. 5 years’ experience in the Transport & Logistics industry. What's in it for you?
