Job Description YOUR ROLE Reporting to the Manager, Student Engagement Services, you will play a key role in shaping and supporting policy, programs and initiatives that strengthen inclusive education, student behaviour, and wellbeing outcomes across MACS. Working within the Student Engagement Unit (SEU), you will collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to deliver evidence-informed policies, build capability in schools, and support system-wide improvement aligned to the MACS 2030 Strategic Plan. WHAT YOU WILL DO Support the implementation and review of policies and initiatives that strengthen student engagement and learning outcomes Contribute to the development, writing and refinement of student engagement policies and procedures Collaborate with internal teams, research partners and external providers to support policy delivery Develop professional learning resources, tools and exemplars to build teacher capability Monitor research, legislation and policy changes impacting student engagement and wellbeing Support responses and coordination across the Education Excellence Directorate on policy implementation Contribute to strategic initiatives and continuous improvement across the Student Engagement Unit ABOUT YOU Qualification in education or a related discipline Demonstrated experience working in education with exposure to policy, programs or student engagement initiatives Strong understanding of student engagement, behaviour, wellbeing or inclusive education frameworks Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies (including MO 1359) (desirable) Proven ability to design and implement evidence-informed policies and initiatives Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders Strong collaboration skills and ability to work across diverse teams Ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment Commitment to child safety and the values of Catholic education Job Type: 12 Month Fixed Term, Part time FTE 0.6 Salary range for this position is $118,234 (EO 1) - $138,496 (EO 5) per annum exclusive of superannuation as specified in the Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2022 .
