Civil Designer to join a nimble and growing team in either Brisbane or the Gold Coast. This is a delivery-focused role for someone who enjoys producing high-quality civil designs, collaborating closely with engineers, and taking real ownership of outputs across a busy urban project portfolio. If you’re currently in a larger consultancy and want broader exposure, quicker decision-making, and a tight-knit team environment—this is worth a chat. You’ll work on civil design and drafting deliverables across urban, residential and commercial building and civil infrastructure projects, including: Civil design using 12D and/or Civil 3D (bulk earthworks, roads, stormwater, services, intersections—depending on project needs) Producing design documentation: plans, profiles, cross sections, details, quantities, and design notes Design updates, revisions, and coordination across disciplines Supporting engineers with design development and project delivery Ensuring drawings meet relevant standards, client requirements, and internal QA What we’re looking for Proven civil design experience within an Australian consultancy environment Strong capability in 12D and/or Civil 3D (either is fine; both is a bonus) Confidence delivering design packages with good attention to detail and constructability Ability to coordinate and communicate clearly with engineers and stakeholders A proactive mindset—someone who takes pride in producing clean, consistent outputs Why move?
