This role will be based out of Austco's Melbourne office, but we would expect 60-70% travel across Victoria to clients. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for maintaining relationships with existing key accounts but will also heavily involve hunting and building new business. What this role is really about You’ll be responsible for originating and winning new business across Victoria primarily in healthcare, infrastructure, and large complex environments, where security and safety, are paramount. This isn’t transactional selling. Our sales cycles can be as short as a week or 1-2 years depending on the project. The work is high-value, high-trust, and technically sophisticated. If you build the relationship, you keep it. We don’t believe in handing clients off once the deal is done. Continuity matters to us and to our customers.
