This is an exciting opportunity to join GEC on the Santos Cooper Midstream Simplification (CMS) project — one of Australia’s most significant energy infrastructure programs currently under delivery. This is a single-project contract expected to run through to late October 2026. Job Description With purpose, respect and a driven mindset, you’ll contribute by: • Perform coded welding across pipeline and facility construction and maintenance scopes at Port Bonython • Maintain valid WPQ coding — consistently pass qualification tests to applicable standards • Carry out general fabrication and repairs to onsite equipment and facilities • Prepare surfaces and apply coatings, primers and perform holiday tests as required • Maintain welding tools and equipment to a high standard • Participate in daily pre-starts, task safety analysis and SWMS reviews Desired Skills and Experience Mandatory Requirements All of the following must be held at time of application.
