About the Business Our client is a South Australia based construction and trade services company delivering high-quality roofing, maintenance, and general building solutions across residential and commercial projects. The business has been growing year after year and continues to build upon its success with our client seeking a skilled and motivated Roof Tiler to join their team. About the Role This is a hands-on position working across a variety of roofing projects including new installations, repairs, and restoration work. You will be part of a small, experienced team and play an important role in delivering quality roofing outcomes on time and to standard. The role requires someone who is confident working at heights, takes pride in their workmanship, and can work both independently and as part of a team. Key Duties & Responsibilities · Prepare roof surfaces for tiling, including installation of battens, sarking and other support materials Lay and secure roof tiles, ensuring correct alignment and finish Cut and shape tiles to suit ridges, valleys, edges, and roof penetrations Carry out roof repairs, including replacing damaged or worn tiles Complete ridge capping, bedding and pointing to ensure durability and weather resistance Assist with roof restoration and general maintenance work Ensure flashings and drainage points are properly installed and functioning Follow all workplace health and safety requirements, particularly when working at heights Work collaboratively with team members to meet project deadlines What you bring Relevant trade qualification or demonstrated experience as a Roof Tiler Proven experience working on tiled roofing systems Ability to work at heights safely and confidently Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to read and interpret basic plans (desirable) White Card required Current driver’s licence preferred What We Offer Competitive salary package of $75,000 – $85,000 per year (plus superannuation) Ongoing, full-time employment with a stable pipeline of work Supportive team environment with experienced tradespeople Opportunity to work across a variety of projects Safe and well-managed working conditions How to Apply If you are a reliable and experienced Roof Tiler looking for your next opportunity, we would like to hear from you.
