Employing trade qualified carpenters, heavy equipment mechanics and apprentices, we operate throughout regional and remote NT performing all aspects of construction including new builds, renovations and extensions. From start to finish we perform most tasks in house, fabricating footings and trusses either on-site or in our workshop. Our Mechanical maintenance team perform fleet maintenance and carry out break down repairs on-site. Also offering mobile hydraulic hose repair and AC maintenance. Equipped modern workshop located 10km from Katherine We are seeking a qualified and experienced Mechanic to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintenance, and diagnostics of a wide range of vehicles, ensuring high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine vehicle servicing and maintenance Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults Conduct fault finding using diagnostic tools and equipment Assemble and repair hydraulic hose systems Maintain accurate service and repair records Ensure all work is completed in line with safety and quality standards To be successful, applicants must hold a relevant Certificate III with a proven minimum 1 year of experience in vehicle servicing and repairs, or at least 3 years may substitute formal qualification. Applicants must also have: Strong diagnostic skills, particularly with electrical systems Experience with hydraulic hose assemblies (desirable) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good record-keeping and organisational skills Strong attention to detail Reliable and punctual Problem-solving ability Commitment to workplace safety A salary of $79,000 - $99,000 will be offered the successful candidate.
