Habitat Studio Architects is seeking an experienced Draftsperson to join our progressive, design-focused studio in Burleigh Heads . Established in 2010, Habitat Studio Architects is a boutique multidisciplinary practice delivering thoughtful, site-responsive architecture across a diverse range of projects including high-end residential, beach houses, multi-residential, commercial, hospitality, fit-outs and interiors . Our work is grounded in a strong design ethos, environmental sustainability, and the creation of architecture that responds to climate, context and the unique character of each site. This is an opportunity for a capable and design-minded Draftsperson with solid industry experience to contribute to projects from concept through to documentation within a collaborative studio environment. About the role You will work closely with our architectural team across a broad range of project types, contributing to high-quality technical drawings. This role suits someone who is confident, proactive and technically strong, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Key responsibilities ·Prepare high-quality drawing packages and project documentation ·Develop and manage detailed 3D models and drawing sets in ArchiCAD ·Coordinate with consultants and support project approvals and documentation processes ·Contribute to residential, multi-residential, commercial and interior projects ·Support the delivery of well-resolved, buildable and design-driven outcomes ·Ensure documentation aligns with relevant codes, standards and local council requirements ·Maintain accuracy, consistency and proper documentation control across project stages About you ·Relevant Diploma-level qualifications or higher · At least two years experience with proven local industry experience in a similar role · Extensive ArchiCAD experience is essential ·Strong understanding of Australian Standards, NCC compliance and construction documentation ·Excellent design, technical and detailing skills ·Strong communication and organisational skills ·Able to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative studio culture ·Passionate about thoughtful, environmentally responsive architecture Why join Habitat Studio Architects ·Work within a respected, design-led boutique practice ·Be involved in a diverse and high-quality project portfolio ·Join a collaborative studio with a strong focus on design, detail and sustainability ·Burleigh Heads studio location
