About the Position: As a Cook at Mr. Wellington, you will be integral to our kitchen operations, preparing and cooking a variety of high-quality Modern Australian dishes to delight our guests. This role involves executing menu items with precision, ensuring consistency in flavour and presentation, and contributing to the smooth running of our busy restaurant service, playing a key part in upholding our reputation for outstanding cuisine. Key Responsibilities: Examining and ensuring the quality of all incoming foodstuffs Preparing, seasoning, and cooking a range of Modern Australian dishes using fresh ingredients and grill techniques Regulating temperatures of ovens, grills, and other kitchen equipment Portioning food, plating dishes with attention to presentation, sauces, and garnishes Storing food items correctly in temperature-controlled facilities Preparing meals to accommodate special dietary requirements Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety throughout the kitchen Collaborating efficiently with the kitchen team during peak service periods Requirements : Australian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply.
