We are currently seeking an experienced and safety conscious Mechanical Fitters located in the Brisbane, QLD area to join our team for a new project kicking off in early June 2026. This will be a casual position to begin with, with the view to transition into a permanent role for the right candidate. Daily tasks will involve: Installation of valves Flange management Cut metal plates and brackets using oxy-fuel torch and chip & grind parts to shape Fit, tack and weld parts together using electric welding equipment Assemble parts and structures by welding, bolting and aid from cranes and other equipment We are keen to talk to you if you meet the following requirements: Mechanical Trade Certificate / Degree Working at Heights & Confined Spaces tickets Forklift/EWP license (desirable) WHS Induction card (White Card or Blue Card) Valid Driver’s license Proof of right to work in Australia The ability to work within a team Physically fit and capable to complete manual tasks - the role may involve manual lifting, bending, squatting and kneeling High safety and quality standards Excellent communication and time management skills Ability to complete a pre-employment medical including a drug & alcohol test - mandatory Above award pay rates and conditions of employment apply - with this role starting at $78/hr (inc. casual loading) Plenty of overtime on offer, with standard site hours being around 60hrs per week.
