Job Description As a Sales Team Leader, you’ll lead a team of Insurance Consultants in a contact centre environment, coaching them to have better conversations with customers who have actively sought us out. You’ll report to the Head of Sales and Customer Care and work alongside a collaborative leadership team, accountable for achieving monthly sales targets and ensuring every interaction reflects the standard we’re known for. In This Role You Will; Coach your team to consistently achieve sales targets through disciplined pipeline management and effective use of leads Develop individual capability through regular one-on-one coaching, call reviews, and calibration sessions that translate into stronger customer conversations Establish clear performance expectations and take a proactive, consistent approach to managing gaps and maintaining standards Build an engaged and motivated team through recognition, incentives, and a culture where people genuinely want to perform Uphold conduct and compliance standards to ensure trusted customer outcomes and business integrity Qualifications What You’ll Bring; Proven experience leading a sales team and helping people consistently achieve their performance goals, ideally in a contact centre or insurance environment A strong coaching mindset with the ability to develop sales capability through practical, hands-on feedback and support Confidence using performance data to identify opportunities and turn insight into action Sound understanding of contact centre workflows, including CRM and dialler-based systems such as Genesys or Salesforce A collaborative and people-focused leadership style that builds trust, accountability, and genuine engagement Additional Information TAL is one of Australia’s leading life insurers, committed to inclusion, and supporting the career growth of our diverse workforce.
