Boilermaker $47.51 per hour |Full Time Sea World, Main Beach, Gold Coast The Opportunity Join our Technical Services team and play a hands-on role in maintaining the structures, assets and equipment that keep Sea World operating safely and smoothly every day. As a Boilermaker, you’ll be part of the behind-the-scenes team fabricating, repairing and maintaining critical park assets. From custom fabrication work to ongoing maintenance, this role is all about quality workmanship, problem-solving and pride in keeping things running at their best. Key Responsibilities you’ll roll up your sleeves and take on the work that keeps our parks running smoothly. You’ll be: • Fabricating, repairing and maintaining metal products, structures and park assets as directed by the Engineering Supervisor • Inspecting, repairing and maintaining equipment in line with work orders and operational priorities • Interpreting technical drawings and applying proven fabrication techniques • Completing Mobaro-generated maintenance tasks by scheduled completion dates • Managing stock levels within your area of responsibility • Ensuring all relevant documentation is accurate, complete and up to date • Working safely at heights when required and following all safety procedures • Taking a proactive, solutions-focused approach to identifying and addressing maintenance issues What We’re Looking For Ready to weld your skills into something exciting? You’ll bring: • A Boilermaker–Welder or equivalent trade qualification (Essential) • A manual driver’s license (Essential) • A forklift license, or willingness to obtain one • Proven fabrication and repair experience • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings • Confidence working at heights • Basic electrical safety awareness and understanding • Strong communication skills and the ability to follow direction • A proactive, self-sufficient approach to maintenance challenges • Flexibility to adjust working hours when required to support operational needs
