Regional Sales Manager, South – Home Appliances, Commercial Channel Role Purpose The regional sales manager - South is responsible for leading and managing the commercial sales function across Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia, and Tasmania. The role focuses on driving profitable growth through effective team leadership, strong partner relationships, and the execution of strategic growth plans aligned to commercial budgets. Reporting to the General Manager – Commercial & Flame, this role plays a critical part in shaping commercial performance, Builder engagement, merchant engagement and channel development across the Southern Region. Role Overview This role combines people leadership, strategic account management, and commercial execution. The Sales Manager will balance hands-on engagement with key partners while coaching and supporting the sales team to deliver consistent, sustainable performance across the region. Key Responsibilities The Sales Manager – Commercial Home Appliances is accountable for the following: Lead, manage, and develop the commercial sales team within the Southern Region (VIC, SA, WA, TAS). Directly manage GDA partner Merchants within the Southern Region, ensuring strong engagement, compliance, and growth outcomes. Build and manage senior relationships across the commercial channel, including merchants, key accounts, partners, builders and stakeholders. Develop, implement, and execute commercial growth strategies and sales plans to achieve agreed budgets and performance targets. Monitor sales performance, pipeline activity, and forecasts, implementing corrective actions as required. Recommend, evaluate, and suggest product and range additions or refinements to support commercial growth opportunities and market demand. Collaborate closely with internal teams including marketing, operations, supply chain, and customer service to ensure successful delivery of commercial outcomes. Provide regular sales reporting, insights, and recommendations to the General Manager – Commercial & Flame. Represent the commercial function professionally across the market, strengthening brand presence and long-term partnerships Qualifications, Experience and Selection Criteria Qualifications and Experience Demonstrated experience within commercial sales channels, ideally within appliances, building products, or a related industry. Proven experience managing and developing sales teams across multi-state or regional territories. Strong experience managing commercial budgets, forecasts, and growth plans. Demonstrated ability to build, manage, and sustain strong commercial relationships at both operational and senior levels. Experience working with partner merchants or indirect sales channels (highly desirable). Strategic mindset with the ability to translate plans into executable actions.
