Role: Responsible to fabricate and install cabinetry for both residential and commercial applications. Job Duties : ·Reviewing and interpreting drawings and other specifications to understand the design requirements for cabinetry items to be fabricated. ·Ability to operate basic machinery such as band saw, etc ·Taking accurate measurements and using various machinery/tools (e.g., saws, routers) to cut materials into the desired shapes and sizes. ·Using woodworking techniques to assemble cabinets, drawers, and other furniture pieces. ·Installing finished cabinets and fixtures at the designated location, ensuring proper alignment, levelling, and anchoring. ·Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications, making any necessary adjustments or repairs as needed. -Adhering to safety regulations and practices while operating machinery, handling materials, and working in the workshop or at job sites. Requirements: -Minimum AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the- job training, or AQF Certificate IV. At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above. Minimum 1 years of full time relevant work experience is a must.
