Technology Support Officer About us Founded by the Harry Perkins Institute, Linear Clinical Research is at the forefront of human breakthroughs, contributing to scientific discovery and advancement through world-leading clinical human trials and medical research. Our state-of-the-art Advanced Clinical Trials Centre opened in early 2024 at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and is home to our Cancer Trials Unit (CTU) and is the first of its kind facility in Australia dedicated to bringing novel therapies through clinical trials to the cancer patients of WA. Your Role in Our Future As a Technology Support Officer, you will be responsible for delivering reliable, high-quality IT support services that enable business operations and enhance user experience. This role focuses on maintaining secure, efficient technology systems while supporting staff and driving continuous improvement across IT services. Some of your responsibilities include: • Provide high-quality desktop support, including incident resolution, stakeholder engagement, and vendor coordination • Maintain and support ICT infrastructure, systems, hardware, and software to ensure secure, reliable operations within agreed SLAs • Maintain accurate documentation of systems, configurations, procedures, and technology policies • Assist with the delivery of technology projects, system upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives aligned to business strategy • Support the implementation of technology, cybersecurity, and business continuity plans, including staff training and awareness activities Your Experience To be successful in this role, you will bring hands-on experience in IT support and a proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment. You must also be able to demonstrate: • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills across desktop, system, and network issues • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments, including Intune and Azure administration • Knowledge of security best practices, system availability, patching, and monitoring concepts • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and support users at all levels • Proven ability to prioritise and manage multiple support requests while meeting SLAs and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction Our Culture and Benefits We encourage a workforce that is innovative, eager to acquire knowledge and enhance skills; we embrace all employee differences and foster a culture that supports diversity and inclusion.
