Your impact, with us We are seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse to join our Victorian Cardiology team on a part-time basis, 2 days per week (Wednesday and Thursday). This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team including EP Cardiologists and industry representatives in a supportive outpatient setting, providing high-quality care to patients with pacemakers and other cardiac devices. This is an ideal role for a nurse with an interest or background in cardiology who values autonomy, collaboration, and patient-centred care. As a valued member of our multidisciplinary service, you'll showcase exceptional standards in both clinical and administrative patient care, ensuring exceptional service delivery and patient outcomes. You’ll make a meaningful impact by: Work in our device clinics to help coordinate and support the management of cardiac patients. You will use a systematic, empathetic approach to help improve both our patient outcomes and their experience Perform pacemaker and cardiac device interrogations in clinic settings Undertake patient assessments and identify device or rhythm-related concerns Work collaboratively with EP Cardiologists to support clinical decision-making Accurately document device checks, findings, and outcomes Prepare clear, concise, and clinically accurate correspondence and referral letters Collect and manage patient and device data to support ongoing monitoring Provide patient education on device function, follow-up, and symptom management both in clinic and between appointments Contribute to a smooth and efficient clinic experience across established sites; Berwick, Balwyn and Mulgrave. What you’ll bring To succeed in this role, you will have: Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration Strong cardiac background with minimum 5 years of nursing experience in cardiology (essential). Specific experience in cardiac devices or pacing highly advantageous. Demonstrated advanced clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to produce accurate clinical documentation Commitment to offering exceptional patient focused care Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
