Following and advising upon project schedules, budgets, quality, and safety standards. Providing consultation and advice on engineering methods and procedures. Liaising and collaborating with other professionals and departments including operations, maintenance, procurement, project controls, quality, commissioning and construction managers. Following quality assurance-quality control (QA/QC) procedures, cost, safety standards, and ensuring standards are met. Executing activities of shaft engineering aspects. Interpreting plans and specifications and ensuring project conformity including any relevant laws and regulations. Contributing to research and development projects. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in mining, or equivalent with relevant experience. 3-5 years mining industry experience desirable. Experience in site-based role on construction projects essential Proficiency in mine planning and design and project scheduling preferred Exposure to drill and blast Proven capability to work in a complex environment. Ability to apply for a current National Police Clearance and pass a pre - employment medical before commencing the position
