We are seeking an experienced Catering Manager / Head Chef to lead kitchen operations within a residential aged care setting in Maryborough. This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for delivering high-quality, nutritious meals that support the health and wellbeing of residents, while ensuring compliance with aged care and food safety standards. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise the catering/kitchen team to maintain high standards of food preparation and service Plan and deliver seasonal, nutritious menus aligned with aged care dietary requirements Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, food safety, and HACCP Engage with residents to understand preferences and enhance the dining experience Manage day-to-day kitchen operations including rostering, stock control, budgeting, and training Skills & Experience Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or higher) Current Food Safety Certificate (essential) Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Head Chef / Catering Manager / Chef in Charge Experience in aged care, healthcare, or large-scale catering highly regarded Strong leadership and team management skills Knowledge of texture-modified diets and nutritional requirements in aged care Current NDIS Check (or willingness to obtain) What’s on Offer Monday to Friday role – no weekend work Salary: $65,000 – $80,000 super Stable, full-time opportunity in a growing sector Supportive team environment Opportunity to make a meaningful difference in residents’ daily lives Salary Packaging How to Apply Apply now or contact Naomi at Troocoo for a confidential discussion. naomi.hill@troocoo.com
