ConsultANZ is looking for a Maintenance Contracts Manager to join a well-established civil contractor in the roading industry, delivering a $30m long-term road maintenance contract in Wellington, New Zealand . Responsibilities: Take full responsibility for delivering a large-scale urban road maintenance contract, ensuring safety, quality, and performance standards are consistently achieved Manage commercial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting against contract requirements Build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, local authorities, subcontractors, and internal teams Lead and coordinate site-based delivery teams across ongoing maintenance activities Drive the planning and execution of works to ensure efficient and compliant delivery outcomes Attend client and stakeholder meetings, representing contract performance and progress Requirements: Qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent industry experience Strong background in civil infrastructure or road maintenance contract delivery Demonstrated leadership capability in managing teams and subcontractors Experience working within council or public sector infrastructure frameworks advantageous Strong understanding of contract delivery, commercial controls, and reporting Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills Benefits: Salary: $170,000 – $200,000 NZD vehicle relocation support, negotiable depending on experience.
