About the Role Based in Derrimut and reporting to the Service Department Manager, you’ll be responsible for servicing, repairing, and preparing customer vehicles to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This is a hands‑on role where your technical expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to customer satisfaction will shine. You’ll be working in a fully equipped workshop, using modern diagnostic tools and dealer management systems, while supporting apprentices and collaborating with a high‑performing team. Key Responsibilities Carry out mechanical servicing and repairs on a wide range of vehicles (engines, gearboxes, transmissions, suspension systems and more) Diagnose faults efficiently and accurately, recommending additional repairs where required Complete all work to manufacturer and company standards – right the first time Test drive and inspect vehicles in line with service check sheets Produce clear, professional job reports and labour estimates Fit accessories as per repair orders Support and guide apprentice technicians as needed Participate in training, development, and breakdown rosters where required Always maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workshop environment in line with WHS standards What You’ll Bring Certificate III in Automotive Technology (Light or Heavy Vehicle) Current Driver’s Licence (HR/HC licence highly regarded) Proven experience in the automotive industry, ideally with manufacturer training Strong diagnostic and technical skills High standard of workmanship and attention to detail Sound written and verbal communication skills A positive, enthusiastic attitude and strong team focus Why Join Us?
