Newman, WA Due to growing demand our client is seeking Motor Mechanics/Automotive Technicians to join there hard working and dedicated team. As Motor Mechanics you will be responsible for all aspects of mechanical repair. Your role would include and not be limited to the following duties: Diagnosing, repairing, fitting and overhauling engines and parts. Maintaining, diagnosing, repairing and fitting hydraulic components such as pumps and injectors. Dismantling, repairing and reassembling engines, transmissions, steering columns and other components. Using oxy, electric, TIG and MIG welding techniques to fit, replace, assemble and repair metal parts including fabrication of parts, machinery and other equipment. Diagnosing and repairing vehicle fuel injections systems. Testing repaired parts for proper performance. Testing and repairing basic electrical circuits. Using computers and specialized tools to diagnose and repair faults. Inspecting vehicles and machinery for faults. Following workplace Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) protocols. To be considered for this role you must have the following attributes: Relevant qualifications (at Cert III) in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or equivalent, or a minimum of 3 years' experience as a mechanic - Repair, service and calibrate components. -Diagnostic Skills -Able to demonstrate efficient work practices. -Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills -Hydraulics/ Pneumatic experience will be highly regarded If you are motivated and hardworking and enjoy sharing your knowledge to improve operational efficiency, then we want to hear from you.
