We require a Senior Hair Stylist to join our team in City Beach, Perth. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality hair services, providing expert consultations, and mentoring junior team members within the salon. This role requires advanced technical skills, strong client relationship management, and the ability to maintain high standards of professionalism, hygiene, and customer service. Responsibilities : Deliver expert client consultations to assess hair needs, recommend suitable styles/treatments, and provide personalised aftercare advice. Perform high-quality hair services including cutting, colouring, balayage, foiling, lightening, styling, treatments, and chemical services. Maintain exceptional customer service, creating a positive salon experience and building strong client relationships to encourage repeat bookings. Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and products while ensuring all services meet salon quality standards. Support, mentor, and guide apprentices and junior stylists, contributing to team development and a positive salon culture. Recommend and promote professional retail products, educating clients on correct use and helping achieve sales targets. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace, following all hygiene, WHS, and salon compliance standards. Manage appointments efficiently, assist with daily salon operations, and uphold the salon's professional image, reputation, and confidentiality standards. Requirements : Certificate III in Hairdressing (minimum qualification in Australia) Several years of professional salon experience Advanced cutting and colouring skills Strong communication and customer service abilities Ability to mentor apprentices and junior staff Knowledge of hair products and treatments Time management and organisational skills Preferred : Established client base (desirable) Experience with premium colour brands and advanced colouring techniques Previous leadership or mentoring experience in a salon environment This is a full time role.
