This role is offered on a temporary part-time basis (0.63 FTE or 48 hours per fortnight) until 11 December 2026, unless otherwise determined. We're seeking an enthusiastic team player with a proactive approach to support classroom activities, student welfare and administrative tasks, with training provided as needed. About The Role As a Teacher Aide you will contribute to the provision of a quality educational service by assisting and supporting teachers with the preparation and enhancement of learning materials and associated activities. Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To Provide in-class support for students with complex learning and behavioural needs under the direction of the classroom teacher, including assistance with literacy and numeracy activities. Assist teachers and students during classroom learning, practical lessons, sporting activities, excursions and other school programs. Support student wellbeing and safety through supervision duties (e.g., playground and bus) and providing first aid when required. Maintain a positive, respectful and professional approach when working with students, families and staff, demonstrating strong communication and teamwork skills. Provide general classroom and administrative support, including preparing learning materials, organising resources and equipment, assisting with demonstrations and completing clerical tasks as required.
