This role requires a deep understanding of cyber security capabilities ensuring the delivery of integrated and effective security solutions to the organisation. This is a fixed-term temporary role located in Fortitude Valley. Flexible Work arrangements available. The role: Reporting to the Project Director you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the full project lifecycle and the successful delivery of a cyber security project in line with Queensland Health's project management methodologies. You may be required to manage multiple in-flight enterprise projects simultaneously and deliver them successfully within agreed timeframes, budget, and quality standards. You will ensure performance against project plans and budgets is met. Additionally, you will enable informed decision making on project issues by developing timely and relevant written submissions, briefs, presentations, and information papers for project stakeholders. To be successful in the Principal Project Manager role you will have proven experience in the delivery of large and complex projects, preferably across cyber security projects, specifically Check Point technologies and/or within the Healthcare industry. The ideal candidate will have the demonstrated skills and experience across the following: High level of expertise and knowledge of appropriate project management methodologies, preferably PRINCE2, and the ability to provide expert advice on the use of appropriate project management techniques, methodologies, and tools. High level of project management skills, with the ability to achieve successful project outcomes. High level interpersonal, negotiation, consultation, and communication skills to create a strong client focus. Proven ability to lead and manage multiple multi-disciplinary project teams will be an essential requirement in this role. The following experience will be highly regarded: Demonstrated experience in the implementation, integration and migration of Check Point solutions, with preference to experience with Multi Factor Authentication and firewall environments in a large and federated organisation. Demonstrated domain knowledge across cyber security solutions including RSA SecureID, Microsoft EntraID, proxies and firewalls. Knowledge and experience in delivery projects focussed on achieving mandatory compliance and maturity requirements (e.g. Information and Cyber Security policy (IS18)). An understanding of the operational environment within hospitals and the role that Cyber plays to support them is desirable. While experience in health care is not a mandatory requirement, we highly value candidates who have demonstrated relevant experience in clinical systems, health IT, or digital health.
