Successful candidates must have : Over 1 year experience Certificate III in Hairdressing qualification or equivalent. Promptly and effectively resolves customer complaints using the recommended process and focusing on customer satisfaction; maintains all records regarding complaints and redos. Focuses on salon cleanliness, wait times, service and convenience. Demonstrates and reinforces proper use of the telephone. Reinforces proper consultation procedures and customer service standards. Analyze clients' hair and other physical features to determine and suggest hair styles; Bleach, dye, or tint hair, using applicator or brush. Cut, trim and shape hair or hairpieces, based on customers' instructions, hair type and facial features, using clippers, scissors, trimmers. Demonstrate and sell hair care products. Develop new styles and techniques Keep work stations clean and sanitize tools such as scissors and combs; Operate cash registers to receive payments from patrons; Schedule client appointments Shampoo, rinse, condition and dry hair and scalp or hairpieces with water, liquid soap, or other solutions Update and maintain customer information records, such as colour services
