The role involves diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, and performing routine servicing across a range of vehicles. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who can work independently while contributing to overall workshop efficiency and service delivery. Key Responsibilities Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic tools and manual inspection Carry out servicing and repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systems Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, and system checks Inspect vehicles and identify repair requirements in line with safety standards Test and adjust mechanical components after repairs Maintain accurate service records and job documentation Ensure all work complies with workplace health and safety requirements Communicate with team members regarding repair progress and technical issues Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment Complete tasks within allocated timeframes to support workflow Skills & Experience Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology or a related qualification Minimum 1 to 2 years of relevant full-time work experience Strong understanding of vehicle systems including engine, braking, and suspension Ability to diagnose faults and carry out repairs independently Experience using diagnostic tools and workshop equipment Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively within a team environment Commitment to safety and quality workmanship How to Apply Please submit your resume along with a brief cover letter outlining your experience and suitability for the role.
