We are currently seeking compassionate, reliable, and experienced Support Workers to join a rewarding new client discharge support team in Wickham and Merewether. This is a meaningful opportunity to provide high-quality, hands-on care to a client transitioning safely back into the community. You will be working as part of a 2:1 care model, supporting consistency, safety, and dignity in every aspect of care. Shift Times: • 07:00am – 09:00am • 07:00pm – 09:00pm Location: Wickham, Newcastle (NSW) Key Responsibilities: • 2:1 support for a client recently discharging from care • Manual handling, including hoist transfers • Personal care, including showering, grooming, and dressing • Continence support • Supporting daily routines with dignity, respect, and professionalism • Ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for the client About You: We are looking for Support Workers who are confident in providing personal care and manual handling support, and who bring a calm, reliable, and person-centred approach to care. You will ideally have: • Experience in disability or community care • Confidence with hoist transfers and manual handling • Strong communication skills • A compassionate and respectful approach to supporting clients This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to make a real difference in a client’s daily life while working consistent, structured shifts.
