A leading Sydney contractor is delivering a major student accommodation development in Sydney and is seeking an experienced Clerk of Works to join the project team on a full-time contract basis. This role will be site-based and will act as the client’s representative, ensuring works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications, standards, and contractual requirements. Key Responsibilities: Full-time on-site representation of the client throughout construction Monitor construction quality and compliance against drawings, specifications, and standards Identify defects, non-conformances, and workmanship issues Maintain detailed site records and reporting Liaise with contractor, consultants, and project stakeholders Witness inspections and key hold points About You: Proven experience as a Clerk of Works or similar client-side site quality role Previous involvement on large-scale projects (ideally $100M in value) Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and QA processes Ability to confidently challenge contractors where required Strong written reporting and communication skills Available for a full-time site-based contract role This is an opportunity to be involved in a high-profile education sector development and play a key role in ensuring quality delivery on a major project.
