Job Description As the strategic architect of Nine’s wellbeing and psychosocial safety framework, you will bridge the gap between clinical best practice and corporate operations for Australia’s largest locally owned media company. You will apply expert psychological principles to mitigate risk across a diverse portfolio of iconic brands, ensuring a safe and healthy environment where our people can truly thrive. This is a rare opportunity for a qualified Organisational Psychologist to drive systemic change and influence the cultural fabric of a household name in entertainment and news. Day to day you will: Design and iterate a comprehensive psychosocial safety framework that aligns with current Australian WHS legislation and regulatory requirements. Identify business-specific risks and develop targeted controls and monitoring systems using data-driven insights. Provide expert consultation and high-level psychological advice to senior leaders and the broader People & Culture team on complex wellbeing challenges. Partner with operational leaders and the broader People and Culture Team to coach and train them on psychosocial risk, fostering a proactive and supportive wellbeing culture. Lead the delivery of mental health programs that address the unique, dynamic, and industry-specific risks across Nine’s portfolio. Coordinate responses to psychosocial risks as they arise, ensuring effective governance and transparency in reporting. Collaborate with stakeholders to drive advocacy for wellbeing initiatives, ensuring all programs are implemented within agreed objectives and budgets. What you'll bring: A Master’s Degree in Organisational Psychology (or equivalent) with current AHPRA registration. Deep understanding of current WHS legislation, specifically the 2022/23 updates regarding psychosocial risks. A track record of driving systemic organisational change regarding psychosocial risk and wellbeing within large, complex organisations. Demonstrated ability to advise and influence senior leadership teams and navigate complex stakeholder environments. Experience driving and executing psychosocial risk strategies within defined timeframes and budget constraints. Ideally, experience working within media, entertainment, or other high-risk, multi-faceted industries.
