About the role: This role is for a casual or full-time Concreter located in Karratha. It is not a fly-in, fly-out position. Casual rate is $75 - $80 per hour. Full-time rate is $60 - $65 per hour plus superannuation, flights to Perth, and regional rent benefits. The role is for someone who takes pride in doing things properly the first time and refuses to compromise on quality or safety. An above average attention to detail is essential as is ensuring work is completed on time. It requires someone for whom following the rules is part of their DNA. This is a role where you’ll be demonstrating your specialised knowledge and expertise on a daily basis. It will see you day to day: Enjoying some variety across civil, commercial, and residential projects Seeing the work through from concreting to finishing Paying high attention to detail-oriented work Ensuring safety standards are maintained at all times Doing formwork, steel fixing, set‑out, concrete placement, screeding, and finishing Delivering slabs, footings, paths, driveways, and repairs Reading and interpreting drawings, levels, and project documentation Ensuring all work meets Trasan’s quality, safety, and compliance standards Assisting carpentry tradesmen to complete prerequisite work Adhering to established guidelines and procedures. About you: You probably describe yourself as a disciplined, accurate specialist in your field who never compromises on quality. You take pride in seeing a project through from start to finish and delivering work on time. You’re more technical and factual in nature, preferring to put your head down and just get on with it. You spend time formulating a plan and honing your skills to reduce the risk of error. You adjust the pace at which you work to ensure timelines are achieved, yet you’re also comfortable doing work that requires a routine, steady pace. What we can provide: We are offering a casual rate of $75 per hour or a full-time rate of $60 per hours, which then entitles you to up to 10 RDOs per year, 2 return flights to Perth, and ongoing training. If you sign on full-time, you are also eligible to salary package and receive Regional Rent Benefits to help you with housing in Karratha. What you must have to apply for this role: Minimum 4–6 years concrete finishing & concreting experience WA Driver’s Licence Construction White Card Clean results in any drug & alcohol screening Strong communication skills A steady, precise, and highly safety‑focused approach to work The right to work without restriction in Australia. You will be highly regarded if you also have: Concrete or civil-related tickets (EWP, Forklift, HRW, etc.) Light truck licence MSIC / ASIC / Police Clearance Demonstrated experience across formwork, steel fixing, placement Skid steer and mini excavator experience Experience in remote or regional environments Comfortable using tablets and digital documentation tools.
