About the Position We are seeking an enthusiastic and capable Safety and HR professional ready to take on a new challenge. In this role, the WHSE Business Partner / Human Resources Coordinator will report directly to the Site Manager, with a dotted line to Shared Services WHSE and HR leadership. This primary purpose of the WHSE Business Partner is to support the Narrogin Site Manager in the implementation of the Site Safety Plan, ensuring a strong focus on hazard prevention, risk management and continuous improvement. In addition, the Human Resources Coordinator component of the role will focus on supporting people systems, processes, and procedures to help support a high-performing and engaged workforce. Key responsibilities include but not limited to: Workplace Health Safety and Environment Partner with the Site Manager to implement the Site Safety Plan, embedding shared WHSE policies, procedures and initiatives. Conduct site inspections, audits and safety observations to identify hazards and recommend practical risk controls. Support incident and near-miss investigations and drive corrective actions through to completion. Ensure WHS compliance across site operations in line with the Work Health and Safety Act, applicable Regulations and internal requirements, providing practical guidance to leaders and employees. Coordinate WHSE training and site onboarding/inductions for employees, contractors and visitors. Maintain WHSE systems, registers and documentation (including reporting, risk assessments and safe work procedures/SWMS), and support workers compensation administration and PPE management. Human Resources Coordinate site-based HR administration and employee records to ensure accurate, timely and compliant workforce transactions. Support end-to-end recruitment coordination, including interview scheduling, candidate communication, pre-employment checks and offer/employment documentation. Coordinate onboarding, inductions and the completion/filing of required compliance and training documentation. Support performance management and employee relations processes, including coordinating meetings, taking notes and collating documentation. Act as the key point of contact for approved HR processes and documentation, providing procedural guidance to site leaders and employees and escalating matters requiring specialist advice. To be successful in this role you will have: Demonstrated experience in a similar role within Workplace Health and Safety, with a proven track record of success. Certificate IV in Workplace Health, Safety and Environment or a related tertiary qualification. Other qualifications such as ICAM, HIRAC, or Lead Auditor are highly regarded. A current First Aid, CPR and Mental Health First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain). Previous experience in high-risk environments such as agricultural, industrial, manufacturing or mining is highly advantageous. Strong knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations, standards and best practice. High attention to detail and strong analytical skills to proactively identify hazards and recommend effective risk controls. Proven experience in supporting WHSE compliance activities, including site inspection, audits and observations, incident and near miss reporting. Experience in supporting site operations while working closely with centralised WHSE/HR teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills when engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
