Our client, a leading education provider, is looking for an Indigenous Education Teacher to deliver the Mumgu-dhal program within Fulham Correctional Centre. About the Role You’ll deliver culturally responsive education that supports identity, community, and rehabilitation. The Mumgu-dhal program is designed to help learners re-engage with education while strengthening cultural connection and self-belief. Working alongside a close-knit team, you’ll play a key role in creating a safe, respectful, and empowering learning environment. What You’ll Bring Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40110 / TAE40116 / TAE40122) – or working towards Strong understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories, and communities Experience working with Indigenous learners or in culturally inclusive environments Teaching or facilitation experience (highly regarded) The ability to build trust, connect, and engage in a meaningful way Preference will be given to candidates who identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, or who bring deep, genuine connection and experience working with community.
