It operates from Canning Vale and Albury, employing around 170 employees across Australia. The business sits within a US-owned manufacturing group PCC and supplies products used in global aerospace programs. This role is the highest level position in Australia for the business and offers scope to influence how the operation runs through local leadership, planning and execution. For a candidate who wants accountability, autonomy and a direct link between decisions and results, this is a role with clear ownership across people, output, compliance, cost and reporting. About the opportunity This role holds full responsibility for the performance of two manufacturing sites, with oversight across operations, quality, safety, HR, engineering, finance, scheduling and reporting. You will work with senior leaders across both locations and take ownership of a 24/7 manufacturing setting. Over time, your impact will be seen through stable output, tighter control, stronger leadership depth and better visibility across the business. In this role, you will: Lead and review performance across both sites and senior leaders Improve throughput, waste, productivity and process discipline Hold full P&L accountability and manage budgets, cost and margin Maintain compliance across safety, quality, audit and export controls Build reporting discipline across EBIT, sales, shipment, safety and quality To deliver these outcomes, you will set expectations, coach leaders, review plant performance, monitor forecasts and working capital, and drive action across bottlenecks, risk, and underperformance. You will also support alignment between operations, finance, HR, materials, technical and sales functions, while reporting to divisional and corporate stakeholders. About you We are looking for a manufacturing leader who has operated at plant or business-unit level and can take ownership of both site performance and commercial outcomes. You will be someone who can manage up and down, work with detail, and lead through clear expectations rather than close control. This role will suit a person who is comfortable in a direct reporting environment and can move across operations, finance, compliance and people matters with pace. To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: Experience leading a manufacturing plant or similar operation Proven track record of ensuring the highest standard of OH&S & Compliance P&L, budgeting, forecasting and cost-control experience Exposure to regulated manufacturing environments Experience leading cross-functional senior teams A degree in business, industrial management, engineering or a related field Knowledge of ISO9001, AS9100, AS7101/NADCAP, AS13100 and ISO17025 Exposure to Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma or similar methods A current driver's licence and willingness to travel to Albury quarterly Full working rights for long-term employment in Australia Exposure to aerospace, metals, forging, superalloy or similar technical manufacturing will be well regarded.
