Business Overview Our industry partner, Alleanza Pty Ltd, trading as Vivace Ristorante, is a well-established Italian dining venue known for its authentic cuisine, welcoming service, and strong reputation within the Bayside area. The business is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Chef de Partie to join its professional kitchen team on a full-time basis. About the Role The successful candidate will be responsible for: Maintain a clean and safe workspace, and abide by workplace health and safety policies and procedures • Produce Vivace 'signature' menu items as instructed to meet consistently our high standards • Assist in the preparation of all menu items while maintaining Vivace's quality standards • Responsible for all dessert menu items, specials, preparation to consistent 5 star standards set by Vivace. • Assist and work closely with Head Chef whilst upholding kitchen policies & procedures. • Follow recipes, portion controls and presentation specification as set by the kitchen brigade. • Assist in food inventory and control while properly receiving and storing delivered items • Ensure clean food prep areas, equipment, utensils and strictly adhere to sanitation, food safety, hygiene, and other health and safety guidelines are adhered to. Salary: $75,000 - $80,000 per annum Qualifications & Experience To be considered for this position, applicants must have: A relevant qualification OR at least 3 years full-time relevant experience Proven experience in a commercial kitchen (Italian cuisine experience highly regarded) Strong knowledge of food safety standards Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Availability to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays as required
