The parents work in the creative industries—documentary production and art-tech—and value kindness, open communication, and mutual respect. The family includes two happy, easygoing boys who love the outdoors, arts, and being creative. They are tremendously loving and funny, with plenty of energy for adventures. With a third baby arriving this summer, the family is seeking someone fun-loving to help maintain their routine during this exciting transition. This cultural exchange offers a diverse taste of English life, moving from the heart of the countryside to one of the UK's most historic cities. Daily Life Spend your summer in Lincolnshire enjoying daily swimming, picnics, and country adventures while the older boys attend summer camp. In late August, move to the Bath area as the boys begin school and nursery full-time. Help with morning routines (breakfast and getting ready), occasional school drop-offs or pick-ups, and afternoon activities. Assist with dinner and bath times in the evenings. Light tasks such as children's laundry and tidying. The family invites you to join them on family holidays by mutual agreement, which include weekend trips to London, holidays in France - and possibly to their family home in the Caribbean! You will be helping out approximately 25 hours per week with at least 2 days off weekly. Most evenings and weekends are free for you to explore. The Family Home & Location You will have your own private floor including a bedroom, bathroom, and kitchenette in a very large country house with extensive gardens. The family is relocating to the City of Bath area in late August. Both locations offer excellent links to London (approx. 1 hour by train) and plenty of local history to explore. Experience Previous experience with young children is required; the family is looking for someone warm and proactive who can keep up with active boys. A valid driver's license is essential for school runs and activities. You will need to be a confident swimmer - the boys love swimming and use the family home pools both at home in in France The ideal candidate is fun-loving, kind, and a good communicator who wants to become part of the family. The family is looking for an Au Pair to stay of at least 12 months.
