The Company My client is a leading FMCG organisation looking for an Engineering Manager. The exciting opportunity has become available to oversee all engineering activities in a bid to enhance plant operation and performance whilst managing a large, multi-million dollar capital pipeline. This role is based in Sydney. The Role Reporting into the Factory Manager, the responsibilities of the role includes: Ensuring the strategic alignment of all engineering functions and the wider business strategy Providing a framework for the management of the capital pipeline for the site to meet the business’s investment strategy Delivering upon Asset Intensity requirements Demonstrating a high-level of leadership and management skills to promote Continuous Excellence implementation and manage key stakeholders within the business. Your Background In order to be successful in this role, you will be: Tertiary qualified Electrical Engineer 8 years experience executing capital projects across a manufacturing facility, ideally a brownfield production environment A history of delivering results within a large manufacturing site or several smaller sites. Must come from a food, beverage, dairy, pharmaceutical or similar regulated environments A combination of hands-on and strategic experience Strong internal and external stakeholder management skills Experience within a unionized environment will be highly advantageous What’s On Offer: In return, you will be given the opportunity to work for an FMCG leader with a pipeline of projects planned over the next 5 years.
