The role operates across both people leadership and project delivery, acting as a key escalation point for operational issues while leading transformation initiatives that improve cost, service and capability. Key responsibilities include: Driving national warehouse performance through clear KPIs, governance and reporting frameworks Leading optimisation and transformation projects, including process improvement and automation across warehousing and billing Partnering with transport and freight teams to support system integration and future TMS development Building capability across site leadership through coaching, upskilling and structured onboarding Identifying and delivering cost improvements, efficiency gains and revenue‑enabling initiatives Skills & Experience This role will suit a commercially minded operations leader with strong process and continuous improvement capability. Key skills required: Proven experience optimising warehouse operations across multiple sites Strong process engineering and continuous improvement background Experience implementing KPIs, performance reporting and governance frameworks Confident stakeholder manager able to operate as an escalation point for operational issues Strong problem‑solving capability with a proactive, solutions‑focused mindset Exposure to freight forwarding or transport operations is advantageous but not essential.
