The business is committed to providing convenient, efficient, and cost-effective solutions to residential households and commercial clients across its service areas. The business currently seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to various locations, ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to all safety regulations. Location: 8 Havenwood Drive, Mount Low, QLD 4818 Roles & Responsibilities: ·Safely operate a truck to deliver, collect, and transport garden waste bags (across designated service areas in a timely and efficient manner. ·Load and unload garden bags using appropriate manual handling techniques or mechanical aids, ensuring safe handling of bulky and lightweight materials. ·Perform scheduled pickups of filled garden bags from residential and commercial ensuring minimal disruption and high customer satisfaction. ·Deliver empty garden bags to new and existing customers, ensuring correct placement as per customer instructions or site requirements. ·Conduct routine pre-start and post-trip vehicle inspections, including checks on tyres, brakes, lights, fluid levels, lifting equipment, and safety gear. ·Ensure proper securing of loads to comply with load restraint guidelines and prevent spillage or damage during transit. ·Maintain accurate delivery and collection records, including job sheets, customer details, and service confirmations. ·Provide friendly and professional customer service during deliveries and collections, representing the company in a positive manner. ·Adhere strictly to road transport laws, workplace health and safety (WHS) regulations, and company policies at all times. ·Keep the truck and equipment clean, organised, and in good working condition, reporting any maintenance issues promptly. ·Coordinate with dispatch and operations staff to ensure efficient scheduling of deliveries and collections. ·Assist with general yard duties when required, including organising garden bags and preparing them for delivery. Skills and Experience: ·Certificate III qualification is required. ·The candidate must have at least 1 year of relevant experience. ·Friendly, positive & approachable attitude. ·Able to work under pressure. ·Valid driver's license ·Ability to handle and transport lightweight but bulky materials. Salary Package: $75,000 - $90,000 Plus Superannuation per annum.
