Kia ora! We are looking for a curious, technically minded Graduate Technical Business Analyst to join our awesome Enterprise Platforms team based in Newmarket. This is an exciting development role for someone keen to build deep capability in enterprise systems, applications, and integrations within a structured and regulated banking environment. As our Graduate Technical Business Analyst – Enterprise Platforms, you’ll support the analysis, documentation and continuous improvement of Heartland’s enterprise application landscape. Working closely with the Senior Technical Business Analyst and wider Enterprise Platforms team, you’ll contribute to initiatives across SaaS platforms, internally developed systems and complex system integrations. This role is designed to help you grow your skills in technical business analysis, enterprise architecture and application analysis, while gaining exposure to real‑world banking systems and large‑scale platforms. Does this sound like you? You’re a detail‑oriented, analytical problem solver with a strong interest in how enterprise systems work together. You’ll bring: Recently completed (or near completion of) a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Technology, Engineering or a related discipline Exposure to systems analysis, databases, APIs or software development concepts through study or internships A demonstrated interest in enterprise systems and technical problem solving Strong analytical and logical thinking skills Curiosity about how systems, data and integrations work Clear written documentation and communication skills The ability to understand technical concepts and translate them clearly for different audiences Strong attention to detail A structured, process‑oriented mindset Willingness to learn, take feedback and continuously improve The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities Strong collaboration skills and the confidence to work with a range of stakeholders Comfort working in environments where requirements may be evolving or ambiguous A bit about us and what we do Heartland is an NZX/ASX-listed financial services group with big growth plans.
