This opportunity as a qualified and experienced HD Fitter will see you in the Australian operation working at the Callide Mine, near Biloela in Queensland. About the role: Experience working with large earth moving equipment. Experience completing required safety duties such as job inspections, JSA’s and SLAM’s. Proven strong commitment to Health and Safety and communicate any safety or maintenance issues. Excellent diagnostic, fault finding, trouble shooting and preventative maintenance skills. You can complete work tasks within set timeframes. You are a team player, while at the same time being proactive and able to work autonomously. You have a recognised Australian trade certificate. To be successful you will have: Experience in the mining industry with exposure to Mining Maintenance (heavy machinery & equipment). Certificate III in Diesel Fitting Technology (Engineering). High Risk Work Licenses (EWP, Forklift, Overhead Gantry Crane, Non Slew Crane, Vehicle loading crane, Dogging, Rigging). Nationally recognised certificates for Enter and work in confined space, Gas test atmospheres, Work safely at heights (Current within the last 2 years). First Aid Certificate. Current Australian Open Drivers Licence. You are willing to undergo a pre-employment medical and random drug and alcohol screening. Current S11. QLD Coal Mine Workers Health Scheme Assessment or willingness to complete along with a Pre-Employment Medical. Benefits: Permanent Full-Time position.
