Job Description Purpose of the Role The Investment Manager role will need someone with a balance of existing ‘traditional’ media practices with a hunger and enthusiasm for AI and technology. The role be will be responsible for executing and optimizing day-to-day media buying activities across all traditional channels including TV/Screens, Outdoor, Audio, Experiential and some Direct Digital. This role involves managing budgets, ensuring goal and value delivery, and adhering to best practices and defining processes. The ideal candidate will bring 3-5 years media experience, with a focus on offline media buying, and will play a key role in managing end-to-end campaigns, including briefing media, and consolidating responses into recommendation packs. The candidate should have experience using SMD and it is preferred they also have experience buying TV. Critically, this role will evolve from managing junior staff, to managing AI Agents – something we will support through a consistent learning and development program that empowers the individual to actively build on our processes, practices and advise on AI/technology improvements. Key Responsibilities Execute and optimise media buying activities across various channels and platforms to achieve campaign goals and deliver value. Assist in the management and deployment of AI agents across the implementation process Implement media buys in alignment with best practice guidelines and established processes. Perform in-flight and post-campaign media optimizations to enhance performance and efficiency. Reconcile media buys as required, ensuring alignment with the media finance process. Manage media buys, including briefing media and consolidating responses into recommendation packs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery of media campaigns. Monitor and report on campaign performance, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement. Help manage the junior and support members of the team, upskilling them on the media buying craft and helping to develop their careers Build relationships with the media partner market to help make big ideas happen and drive value for clients Qualification What You’ll Bring 3 years of media buying experience, with a strong focus on offline media (e.g., TV, radio, and out-of-home (OOH) advertising). Proven experience in managing media buys and working directly with media partners Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities. Familiarity with media finance processes and reconciliation. Proficiency in media buying tools and platforms. Strong communication and collaboration skills Preferred Skills Knowledge of traditional and digital media buying practices. Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in media buying.
