Business Intelligence Analyst – Workforce Planning ASAP start until Feb 2027 Canberra (ACT) | Hybrid Working Arrangements Business Intelligence Analyst – Workforce Planning ASAP start | Contract until February 2027 Canberra (ACT) | Hybrid working arrangements We are partnering with a Canberra‑based organisation to engage a Business Intelligence Analyst to support a key workforce planning initiative. This is a hands‑on analytics role , ideal for someone who enjoys building models, dashboards, and planning tools that drive real business decisions. Key responsibilities Design, develop, and enhance workforce and resource planning tools Build forecasting and scenario models to support workforce planning decisions Develop Power BI dashboards and reports that translate complex data into clear, actionable insights Create and maintain advanced Excel models , including scenario analysis Collect, validate, and analyse data to ensure accuracy and integrity Document business requirements, processes, and reporting frameworks Support stakeholders in adopting analytics tools through guidance and training Proactively identify opportunities to improve data quality, reporting efficiency, and planning capability Skills and experience 5 years’ experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or workforce analytics Strong hands‑on experience with Power BI , including data transformation and dashboard design Advanced Excel modelling skills, including forecasting and scenario analysis Experience working with workforce or resource planning datasets (e.g. FTE, demand/supply, capability planning) Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail Ability to communicate complex analysis to non‑technical stakeholders Experience in government or large, complex organisations is highly regarded Full Australian working rights required If this sounds like the opportunity you’re looking for, please submit your CV.
